This is the perfect weekend to bring the kids out and about, whether you’re looking to get some gifts off your holiday shopping list or just want to get in the Christmas spirit.
Breakfast with Santa
The Salvation Army and the Noon Kiwanis Club are sponsoring a Breakfast with Santa Saturday, December 2nd at the Salvation Army, 107-109 W. State Street. There will be a scrumptious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and beverages from 7:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Free will offering.
Christmas Crafts & Shopping
This weekend happens to be a great weekend to get all your shopping done in one day! Saturday, December 2nd, there are THREE different markets/shows all in Marshalltown!
Fisher Community Center has a market with unique gifts on Saturday, December 2nd from 9 AM to 5 PM. Entrance is free!
Central Iowa Fairgrounds is also hosting a craft show featuring re-purposed furniture, quilts, sewing items, painted window panes, Christmas decor, clothing, homemade baked goods, wine, and more! That show is the same day from 9 AM to 2 PM.
AND Best Western is hosting 30 vendors/ crafters at their market on December 2nd from 10-4.
Holiday Music to Get in the Spirit
If music gets you in the holiday spirit then you won’t want to miss the Marshalltown Saxophone Quartet’s holiday concert which is that evening, Saturday, December 2nd at 7PM at Hope United Methodist.
